After a long flight, you get off the plane with your wife, Stephanie, and make your way through the terminal. You find her mother, Harriet, waiting for you.
"Over here." she waves. You make your way quickly over to her. "Hello Stephanie." she hugs and kisses her daughter. "And Daniel." she gives you the same treatment.
You've not seen Stephanie's mother in a little over a year, since the wedding. And she's invited the two of you to stay with her for a few weeks. There are things you're rather use your leave on but there was no way you'd convince Stephanie to refuse her mother.
It is a short drive to the house where Stephanie and her two sisters grew up. Only Felicity, the youngest sister, still lives with their mother.
Felicity greets you as you enter the house, well greets Stephanie at least. The 18-year-old girl screams and throws her arms around her older sister. "Steph!"
"You'll be staying in Stephanie's old room." her mother explains. "I'm sure she remembers the way."
Once you get your bags into the room you deal with an increasingly urgent problem. "Where's the toilet?" you ask.
"Just down the corridor" she points. "second door on the left."
You empty you bladder and return to help Stephanie unpack.
"What happened in here?" you hear Harriet shout angrily. Then followed by "Daniel. Would you come here please."
You look at Stephanie. She just says. "You'd better go. Making her wait only makes it worse."
