Sarah laid their enjoying her new powers, when a thought came to her.
"I shouldn't be selfish with my powers!" she said. "I should let Abbie and Alex join in the fun too!" Sshe waved her hand, and a large flat-screen TV appeared on the wall in front of her.
"Let's see.." she said, focusing her mind on the TV. "Abbie should be channel 18..." The TV suddenly switched on to an image of Abbie in her PE kit playing hockey with the other girls. Abbie had always been enthusiastic about sports, but unfortunately, she'd never been able to back that enthusiasm up with any actual skill. Sarah watched her attempt to play, but she very rarely got the puck, and even when she did, her performance with it was nothing short of terrible.
"We'll see about that..." said Sarah, as she focused her powers on Abbie. In a flash, Abbie was transformed from a sporting nightmare to the greatest sportswoman in the school! Her skills became legendary, as she scored goal after goal, the other girls looking on in amazement. Just to really help her out, she made the other girls worse at sports! Not too much, but enough that they wouldn't have the slightest hope of winning against Abbie. Sarah just watched the game, enjoying the sight of her divine powers making her daughter so happy. When the game was over, she flicked off.
"Now then, Alex should be channel 16," said Sarah, flicking her wrist, causing the TV to switch to an image of Alex. She was stood in the hallway with her best friend Samantha, staring at Jacob, the hot boy that the 2 girls had a HUGE crush on.
"God he's gorgeous," said Samantha.
"Yeah, but he'd never be interested in us," said Alex sadly.
"Don't be so sure..." said Sarah, willing.
"Oh my God Alex, he's coming over to us," said Samantha.
"Hi girls," Jacob said.
"Hi Jacob..." the girls said in dreamy unison.
"Samantha, leave them alone," Sarah commanded.
"Hey guys, I gotta go!" said Samantha, running off.
"Hey! Where're you going!?" Alex shouted at her.
"Forget her," said Jacob. He got down on one knee, and held her hands. "I've been doing some thinking, and I've realised that you, Alex Bryson, are the greatest girl in existance, and I love you with all my heart. Please, I would be honoured if you would allow me to escort you to Chez Plaisir tonight!" Chez Plaisir was the best and most expensive restaurant in town, and without divine interference neither of them could ever hope to afford it.
"Of course I will!" replied Alex gleefully. Under normal circumstances this extreme asking-out would have scared off any girl, but Alex's humungous crush on Jacob, coupled with her mother's mind-control, had meant that she'd had no choice but to agree!
"Now for the finishing touch..." said Sarah. Jacob suddenly lunged forward and began making-out with Alex, who happil returned the favour.
"My work here is done," said Sarah, smiling.
"I know what I can do!" said Sarah. She focused her powers on Abbie, commanding her to call her boyfriend and arrange a double-date with her boyfriend Adam, and Alex and Jacob.
