This choice: Still inside Maribelle's boot. Lissa forgot about you. Another day underfoot! • Go Back... (Written by Writetime)
Still trapped in Maribelle's boot. Much to your dismay the insole so soaked with sweat that it was damp to the touch. Your head was swimming and your legs wobbly. The stench was overwhelming and was causing your stomach to churn. You felt like you could throw up at any second.
You tried to push yourself up and out of the insole you had been fused too, but couldn't get the strength.
"God, this sucks" you think to yourself.
You looked up and around trying in vain to see if you could climb your way out of the boot. The sheer walls of the giant noble's boots towered over you. You tried to lift yourself up out of the insole again, straining your arms and legs, and were able to raise yourself up just enough to get your head and shoulders out of the insole. You stopped and gasped for air. The air was only faintly noted with the scent of her foot sweat and toe jam. You were still stuck inside the boot.
You looked around and noticed the top of the boot, still open, lighting shining on you from above. A proverbial light at the end of the tunnel.
"If I could just climb out of this stupid insole..." with a mighty heave your arms popped out of the insole.
With both your arms and head out you were able to get the proper leverage and push yourself up and out of the insole. Your legs were wobbly as you made your way over to the back of the boot.
"Ughhh, It's so gross in here" you complained as the heel of the boot came into view.
You reached the edge of the boot and climbed onto the heel. The ground was sunk in here. You shivered at the thought of Maribelle's heel pounding you into the floor every time she took a step.
You looked up and saw the opening to the outside, a long, long climb. You cracked your knuckles took a deep breath and began to climb upward. Your progress was slow, but steady. The boot was so worn that you were able to grip into the slight indentions of the boot. For the first time, you were glad the giant noble had brought an old pair of boots with her.
You kept climbing up, reaching the top of the boot and beginning the last leg of the climb.
"Almost there..." you encouraged yourself, "I'm almost there."
The top came closer and closer. You reached the top and pulled yourself up. As your head rose above the boot a blast of cool air rushed past you. You breathed it in and smiled.
You sat there for a minute gripping onto on the edge of the boot. Only for a sudden rumbling to cause you to lose your grip.
You cried as you plunged back into the depths of Maribelle's boot. The bottom was now approaching fast. You reached out in a panic and managed to grab a hold of a stray lace slowing your fall although your arms ached at grabbing the lace so suddenly.
You held on and took a breather, as the rumbling was slowly becoming deeper and deeper.
"One moment Lissa! Let me put my boots back on!" The sky grew dark as five massive toes appeared at the top of the boot.
The giantess's toes wiggled daintily, and you saw her nails painted pink. You heard her mutter, "Ugh, how did my boots end up like this? They smell rank. I'll have to be sure to clean them soon." The toes began to slide down the boot directly towards you! In desperation you ran towards the front of the boot. Anything to avoid being pulverized beneath Maribelle's heel. You ran as fast as your legs would take you. The toes were coming closer and closer.
"Hurry up! It's already so hot out here!" Lissa's voice echoed throughout the sky.
Your progress was stopped as a giant toe collided into your back. You found yourself drug along the sole of her boot once again. Only now you were trapped between her second and third toes. You tried to wiggle free. Her toes pressed down harder onto you in response. Your body was pinned underneath her.
You could only watch helplessly as Maribelle's toes flexed back and forth. The toes were surprisingly warm.
You lay there for a moment, feeling her toes pressing against you. Maribelle was a noble woman after all, and they tended to have smooth and delicate feet, and you could tell that Maribelle was no exception. The smell of roses floated over the air. She had apparently put on perfume before putting her shoes on.
You felt a giant toe come crashing down on top of you. Your chest was pressed against her. Your body was now sandwiched under Maribelle's second toe. You felt the pressure increase while Maribelle stood up. Her foot lifted up into the sky and the world started to spin. The wind whipped past your ears.
The toes flexed, pressing down into your body. Your chest was pressed against her sole. It was so hot inside the boot. The sweaty sole was sticking to your back. When her boot touched the ground you felt her foot begin to flatten you beneath it. The weight increased until the pressure was crushing. You couldn't even breathe now. Your vision began to fade.
Maribelle's toe pressed against you. It felt so hot. Like the heat from the sun. The toes starting to glisten with sweat. Maribelle continued to walk unaware of the tiny man trapped between her toes.
Your eyes began to blur. The heat and sweat were causing the boot to feel stuffy. You couldn't move. It felt like someone was pushing a brick wall against you. The weight increased, and you felt your body begin to mold to the whims of the monolithic pillars of Maribelle's toes.
"Maribelle!" Lissa's voice called out, "Why are you moving so slow? Come on, hurry up!"
Maribelle sighed, "Coming, my treasure" Her foot lifted up.
Your mind was growing foggy, and you were beginning to feel sleepy. You were tired and thirsty.
"Hey, what's that under my toe?" indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
