Ash picked up the remote and took a closer look at it and noticed that it had many buttons that were all different colors. Not knowing any of their functions, he randomly pressed the blue button.
In the blink of an eye, Ash felt very different. His perspective had shifted slightly downwards and he noticed weight in areas were there had been none before, namely his chest and the back of his head, and yet other parts of his body felt lighter. Irritated by the new sensations, Ash took a peek at his chest and was shocked to see two mounds on his formerly flat chest. Taking a hand to his chest to confirm whether this was actually real, he noticed his now smaller, feminine hands and the darker and smoother skin that now covered them. Upon seeing these changes, Ash got a suspicion of what had happened and needed to confirm it. He reached behind his back and felt... hair, a lot of it. This was enough to confirm his suspicion, he had actually turned into Iris. Then it dawned on him, there was one area of his body he still had to check for changes. Not daring to look, he pulled his hand away from his hair and slowly moved it towards that part. Once he reached it, realization hit him, now her, like a ton of bricks: she was actually female now.
Finally managing to look downward again, she notices that, oddly enough, she was still wearing her own clothes, only re-sized for Iris's, now her, body. Looking back at where Iris was standing, Ash saw that she, now he, was in her original body, wearing Iris's clothes re-sized for Ash's body. However, it seemed that Iris was completely oblivious to what was going on as she was still talking to Cilan, who also seemed not to notice anything. Seeing this, Ash came to the realization that this remote could alter reality. By pressing that button, Ash and Iris had swapped bodies and reality was adjusted.
Ash was amazed at the power the remote in her hands held and was eager to see what she could do with it. Thinking back, she remembered that when she pressed the button, she was aiming the remote in Iris' direction, so this must be how the target is selected.
Ash wasn't sure how she should go on from here. Unfortunately, she couldn't remember which button she pressed to swap with Iris, so if she wanted to swap back, she had to guess.
