Maybe she could help you out. After all, it was the only somewhat logic thing to do anyway.
"(Sigh) Look, Chrysalis," you start, "I was embarrassed and angered by Auntie Celeste babying me like that." By now, the queen is near you. "She was always so ignorant of people taunting me about that whole situation. I just wanted to finally let that be heard."
"But you took it too far," she replies.
Now you were on the verge of breaking down. You really didn't want to do that, especially in front of Chrysalis. "I never intended to make her cry. I just wanted to calmly tell her but my anger got the better of me." A tear fell when you blinked.
"Maybe you should talk to Celestia. I understand what you mean, but at least consider yourself lucky you have someone to care for you, even if she isn't your real aunt."
You realized she was right. She grabs your hand and it causes you to hug her, getting her off-guard. Chrysalis hugs you back and even carresses your hair.
"Thanks, Chrysalis. No wonder I have a slight crush on you."
"No problem, (your name). Wait, what?"
"Uh, I gotta go. Sorry."
She looks at you while you leave. She feels somewhat empowered, but doesn't know where it's coming from. Usually it's from someone else, only this time is an exception. Coming from her, maybe?
You reach Celestia's closed room. You hesitate of opening the door, since you still hear sobbing coming out from the other side. You sucked it up and prepared for what was coming.
Opening the door, you realize it's darker than usual and that Celestia is sobbing from the bed. Now you really feel bad. Not only saying that to her, but making her cry as well? You never saw her do so; and now you see it's sadder than what you thought would be.
"Auntie..?" you weakly say. Celeste gasps and looks up, not expecting your return like that.
