Knowing that you won't be able to sit around in the hotel room forever, you decide the best option is to leave and find a way to contact a friend. Of course, it's entirely possible that your friends are up to this, and are waiting for you to call so they can laugh at your predicament. Regardless of who is behind all of this, you teeter on your heels, and open the door, heading out into the hall.
The door close behind you, and locks. You look both ways down the hall, which is thankfully empty. You mince around, looking for a courtesy phone somewhere, but the only things you find are an ice machine, and a vending machine. If you want to call your friends, you're going to have to do so from the lobby of the hotel.
Grumbling with rage, you make your way to the elevator and hit the call button. Moments later, the elevator dings and the doors swing open - revealing a crowd of bubbly teenage girls, who immediately stop chattering to each other once they see you. A few painful moments of silence pass like an eternity, which is broken by their shrill shrieks of laughter - laughter loud enough to wake up anyone sleeping in a three floor radius.
"Oh my GOD!" one of them yells out. "Oh... my.. GAWD!"
"What IS that? HAHA!"
You lower your head, hoping the big fur hat and collar cover enough of your face to avoid this humiliation. You don't dare risk taking the stairs, since you can barely manage to stay standing in your heeled boots, and you know that even if you wait for the next elevator, these girls are going to be waiting for you in the lobby.
