"He was a nice guy overall," Kelsey began, "But he was really into hypnosis."
Once you were dressed you flopped onto the bed next to Kelsey. "That does sound weird," You replied. "At least we didn't do anything stupid."
"That's what you think," Kelsey groaned. "Todd made all of us kiss. First he made you and me kiss, then me and Maggie, and then you and Maggie."
"Gross!" You blurted out as you hit Kelsey with a pillow. "I don't want your cooties."
"Don't be silly," Kelsey laughed as she grabbed a pillow to defend herself. "You can only get cooties from boys! Everybody knows that. I think he gave Maggie lots of cooties because they started kissing a lot."
"Ewww, why would mommy want to kiss a gross boy," You said.
"Mommy must not get cooties from boys," Kelsey answered. "She sent us to bed so she could be only with Todd."
Your mind felt fuzzy. Something seemed off, but you couldn't quite put your finger on what was wrong. Weren't you in college? Why were you calling Maggie mommy? And since when did you not like kissing boys?
"Kelsey," You began slowly, "I think Todd did something to our minds. Just how much did he hypnotize us?"
"I think you're right," Kelsey agreed, "I keep acting like a little kid. My mind keeps jumping back and forth between kindergarten and college."
The two of you looked at each other. You both seemed more concerned about your predicament than your hangovers. You rolled off the bed and walked into the living room. Kelsey followed although somewhat slower.
In the living room you spotted Todd and Maggie sitting on the sofa. Maggie had her arms wrapped around Todd as they watched a movie together.
"Well, if it isn't our two baby girls," Todd said merrily.
