Ralph's eyes were stuck open in fear as he stared at the vent grate that had fallen to the ground in front of him. He was sure, someone was going to crawl through that opening and attack him! Any moment now. Any...moment? Ralph blinked, wondering why nothing had happened. No inmates seemed to be crawling out of the vents, and no rescuers were either for that matter! Just, the vent was opened and then...nothing!
Ralph sat frozen in his seat for a good five minutes before he finally worked up the courage to stand up. He cautiously walked over to the vent grate and picked it up. The grate hadn't been unscrewed, just struck so hard that it had been torn from the vent! "Who in the hell would go through the trouble of smashing this withou-GAHK!"
The grate clattered to the ground once more as Ralph held his throat with both hands. He dropped to his knees and started choking on the sudden rancid reek that filled the air! He couldn't even describe the atrocious stench that surrounded him! All he knew was that it was awful! Too awful!
"S...someone...h-help..m-m...eeeeeee..." Were his last words before everything went dark. The smell was just too bad! Ralph woke up some time later, tied to a chair in one of the cells! He wasn't left to wonder about who captured him for long, as he was soon greeted by...
