In a city of crime, one woman seeks to make a different. Her name is Maria Anderson, local politician running for mayor.
She stands at the height of 5'8 with long jet black hair that falls to her mid-back in length. She generally clothes herself in dark formal attire for her campaign events and rallies.
Her rise to political power began shortly after the dastardly Havoc launched a plan to destroy the city with the force of her BO alone, an attempt the Metropolis PD were helpless to stop. Only the intervention of Birdboy and Catgirl subdued her in time. This was followed shortly by the villainess FootGirl nearly coating the entire city in her toejam, covering an entire district before being stopped once again by Birdboy and Catgirl. It was clear to everyone at that point, that serious changes needed to be made in the city.
So Maria launched her political career, calling for an end to the cities dependence on Birdboy and Catgirl to save the day, advocating changes to the local Police Department that would make them better equipped to face the stinky villains of Metropolis. She also called for the construction of new, advanced prisons capable of holding even the smelliest of them without fear of frequent breakouts. Her ideas caught on, putting her neck and neck in the run against the longstanding mayor of Metropolis.
But this success came at a price, with her central issue being crime, she'd be bound to draw some unsavory attention. But she couldn't let this stop her! The city needed change and she'd be the one to do it!
Maria shook her head at the newspaper headlines. Yet again, the fiendish Braun Beatdown had gone on a crime spree, before being stopped by Catgirl. She lowered the paper and sighed. At the very least, this would help bolster her campaign numbers. With luck, she'd pull ahead of her opponent by at least a couple points. Now, what did she have scheduled for today?
