It was just another normal day in your entry level theatre class. Which involved a lot of sitting around and learning about theatre history, then playing theatre games until the class period ended.
To be honest, you wouldn't have taken such a class. But there was a requirement to take an art class and you had heard from an old friend that the class was more enjoyable to the equivalent of this class in visual arts.
Most of the people in your class were pretty much in the same boat, granted there was only one guy. This class was a bit too feminine for there to be a large amount of guys and pretty much all of the girls in here were at least cute. So, you really didn't have many complaints. Well... except for the small group of better-than-thou, popular girl. You didn't really appreciate the snobs.
Anyway, today's history portion had run it's course and your theatre teacher, who was a extremely short, spastic--surprisingly pretty--redhead, had decided to let the class do predetermined skits. To your displeasure, you were placed in a group with the snobs and the skit was a kidnapped princess scenario, with a knight or knights, and a dragon. You could already hear the the group of four girls gossiping among themselves. You wish their personalities weren't so caustic. Maybe you could consider them attractive if it wasn't for that.
By the time they made their way over to you, they had already devised who was going to do what in the skit and how they were going to do it. You honestly hadn't even bothered to learn their names, but the supposed alpha amount this group spoke to you with a tone that suggested you were below her.
"So, since you're like the ugliest one here. You're gonna be the dragon. Since I'm the prettiest, I'll be the princess." There was a brief pause as one of the girls bicker about being the prettiest, which quickly ends after a brief threat of being added to someone's curves. As for the insult you just ignore it, you decide to play along. Not wanting to encounter the wrath of a popular kid.
