Volgern noted the man going down the stairs with more than passing interest. He could tell the man had the beastblood,
as he did, simply by his smell.Even though it was none of his business,Volgern was curious about the man's intentions, and how the innkeeper knew to give the man a key, without either of them saying a word to each other.
