Alison was excited to start her freshman year at Powers. However, she did think it was odd that they were doing some new program where certain freshman would be rooming with Sophomores. Some assistant dean somewhere probably wanted to try something new and get credit if it took off, she supposed.
There was no lack of success in high school for Alison. She was a varsity tennis player and on homecoming court, and she had the body for it. She was thin, about 125 pounds of lean muscle on her 5'9 frame. She had black hair, and a cute diamond shaped face. Getting boys was never an issue for her. She was generally friendly, and she didn't have any trouble landing boys. Being from a small town, she was happy about getting to Powers and hoped to move to a larger city after obtaining her degree.
Alison looked at her placement card again, and saw that she was rooming with Madison Kraft. They had friended each other on facebook before the year started, and Madison seemed friendly enough. One of the things that Alison immediately noticed was that Madison was quite chubby in her photos. Alison went back and saw that the weight was exclusively gained during her freshman year. ''Uh-oh, I have to watch myself, I would want that to happen to me,'' she thought as she packed up her things.
One of the perks of the program was that she got a larger dorm room than most freshman would have. They had a bedroom, living room, and a kitchen, pretty good accommodations now, and unheard of 20 years ago. Plus, she figured the central campus location would be great for partying.
As Alison was unpacking her things the door opened up, and Madison came in,
''Hey nice to finally meet you in person,'' Madison said. Madison looked at Alison, she seemed even skinnier in person. Madison remembered when she had a body like that, but as they talked, Madison realized that Alison was really nice, wanted to have a good time, and that they were going to get along well
