Madison decided that being a teacher's assistant would allow her the most amount of time to study, and she wouldn't have to worry about commuting anywhere. There were many proffessors who were looking for an extra student to help them out, Madison wished she could be interviewed by all of them so she could know which ones got along with her the best.
She also wondered if she should use this to test out which field of study she wanted to go into. Madison always assumed she would go into business like her father had, but then she wondered, maybe she should look at other majors, like philosophy, or sociology, and then parlay that into law school. She didn't declare going in so she had her options open.
Cassi walked over to Madison and looked over her shoulder, ''Hey, what are you doing, Madison?''
''Just trying to figure out where I want to work as a TA, but ugh, there are so many places.''
Cassi looked at the notes that Madison had scribbled and realized Madison didn't just approach her schooling with riggor, that attitude looked to cover most portions of her life. Cassi saw that there were some staff photos on Madison's computer of the proffessors who were looking for teacher's assistants, and she chimed in, ''Ooo, he's cute.''
''Yeah that didn't escape me, I guess his name is Dr. Paul, he's new to the school this year. Ivy league grad, apperently he got published a lot at his previous university.''
''This isn't his first job, he looks kind of young.''
''Nope, he was at some small state school before, until they brought him on.''
''Well that may be worth your consideration.''
Madison sat there and thought about it, he did have a distinguished resume, and someone who rose to this level before their 40s must have some spark and best practices that she could learn.
Madison looked at another file proffessor, Dr. Smith. She looked to be around 55 and seemed to be one of the leaders in her field of sociology. Madison was impressed by her long list of published works, and she knew it may be a cool opprotunity to work for someone with that wealth of knowledge.
Madison had also narrowed down a third proffessor, Dr. Winston, who was only an assistant proffessor. She was quite young, and this looked like her first proffessorial job. Madison thought that someone starting out may be less distant, and she considered going with Dr. Winston, plus she saw in Dr. Winston's bio that she was born in Miami, so that was a plus.
