In this universe ruled by titans, traditionally sized or smaller beings find themselves at an extreme disadvantage, almost completely helpless before the whims of super macro scaled lifeforms.
To combat this, the smaller races and factions of the universe developed a technology called “Giga macro robotics” or “GIMR" tech which allowed them to build massive Androids and Gynoids of comparable size and power to fight on their behalf, allowing the smaller races to even the playing field.
GIMR units are equipped with a vast array of exotic weaponry and defenses that lesser races would view as magic,Allowing them to match the sheer physical strength and variety of biotic abilities of most macro scaled civilizations blow for blow.
Many smaller scaled civilizations have even built their homes among the bodies of GIMR units.
