Micro-Sparta - Highly militaristic male dominat...

Micro-Sparta was only called such by the few civilizations who knew the asteroid existed, the natives simply called it Sparta, mostly due to ego and what they say about men and their infatuation with size and all that stuff. Anyway, life here was regimented and tough by necessity, their immediate neighbors were women that were approximately 4 feet tall on average. Thankfully they weren't aware of Sparta's existence because they'd quickly enslave or exterminate them all quite easily.

Due to their size, they had to deal with a few problems: metal is impossible to work with at their size, clothing is impossible to impractical to make comfortable at their scale (so everyone is naked, warpaint does exist though), their size makes them an easy conquest for anyone more than an inch taller.

In this regimented, militaristic society, there were quite a few jobs that were needed to ensure Sparta's existence: the Diplomat Corps who negotiated the construction of spaceships and weapons since forging metal was incredibly difficult to impractical at their size, the Vanguard who scouted out their neighbors and determined who could be conquered, or should be avoided, and the Hoplon Wall, the average soldier who defended and conquered in the name of the almighty Y chromosome. Even if you were only an inch tall.
