"Not exactly. I want you to start buying junk food for the house."
"What? God, okay, just let me go!"
Meg stepped to the side.
"That'll be all, Lauren."
Lauren shot Meg a dirty look, then waddled off to bed to nurse her sore belly.
====================================================
When Lauren weighed herself the next morning, she found she'd gained three pounds from the two binges. She sighed and grabbed two big handfuls of her chubby belly.
All that work down the drain... she thought, looking at herself. Lauren dressed, then headed downstairs. When she reached the bottom, Meg thrust a piece of paper into her hand.
"What's this?" Lauren took the paper cautiously.
"It's your new shopping list!" Meg grinned.
Lauren looked it over. Deep dish pizzas, ice cream, cookies, snack cakes, chips, all sorts of awful things.
"Meg, you know mom wouldn't allow this kind of crap." Lauren scowled, flipping the paper over. There was more on the back.
"Yeah, but mom isn't here, is she? Have you already forgotten our arrangement?" Lauren's heart sank. The picture.
Lauren sighed. "No, no I haven't. I'll go get the stuff." As Lauren went to grab her jacket, Meg wrung her hands together like any good super-villain would.
With all that junk food around the house, Lauren's gonna be huge! Meg chuckled maniacally.
====================================================
Lauren came back with bags upon bags of unhealthy groceries. The pantry, fridge, and freezer were all stocked full of the worst kind of food imaginable.
Meg actually helped her unload the groceries, the whole time scheming her next move. When they were all unloaded, Lauren stopped to face her sister.
"Okay, Meg, I did what you asked. Now can you please delete that picture?" Lauren actually looked rather distraught.
Meg hesitated - she didn't want to remove such a delicious blackmailing tool from her repertoire. However, Lauren did do exactly as she asked...
After a bit of internal conflict, "Alright, I'll delete it." Lauren immediately looked relieved.
"Thanks, Megan." she said, and left to her room.
Meg sat there for a second, thinking. Perhaps she was being too mean to her sister. At the same time, flashbacks of the constant torrent of insults flooded back, the same thoughts that started this whole revenge crusade.
