it was now december 21st. Jason had been having alot trouble making ends meet for the last year after he got laid off from the company he worked for. he took a part time job at a department store and a second job as a security guard at a laboratory facility. it was important that hes able to put food on the table, as he has a 5 year old daughter Lucy, to take care of. He loved lucy more than anything in the world, and had been saving up for months to make sure she had great christmas, buying her the doll she really wanted, a limited edition "little girl claus" american girl doll. luckily he was able to afford one due to the department stores employee discount. he wrapped it, took it home, and placed it under the little christmas tree in his one bedroom studio apartment. he checked on the sleeping lucy, before he had to start his night shift at the lab. his elderly neighbor tammy babysits lucy during his nightshifts and jason goes to work, happy that he was able to make this christmas for lucy a good one.
