...come over to my house? I'd love to see you." Ben finished. This was true; he did want to see Mia, so she shouldn't be able to tell something was up.

There was a silence that made the wolf a bit nervous, but then the soft, throaty voice replied. "Sure, Ben! That would be wonderful. Do you want me to bring anything? Maybe some lunch for later?"
Grinning, Ben declined, saying that she only had to bring herself. After hanging up, he took stock of his affairs. The beautiful fox would soon be here, and he needed to make sure he had everything he needed for his plans... did he have pepper? What about feathers? And maybe tissues... although Mia didn't tend to cover.
