"Shepard, hurry up!" Liara called out from the kitchen. "She'll be here any minute!"
"Nearly done, sorry!" Shepard called back, turning off the shower taps hurriedly. She got lost in her thoughts again, thinking of how the last few months of her retirement had gone. It had truly been a wonderful experience, traipsing across the galaxy without a war to fight, just enjoying all the sights and sounds they missed in between their missions. Shepard took Liara on a tour of all the famous earth cities and landmarks, followed by Liara taking her to all the immaculate cities she heard but never saw before on Thessia, and they had gone on to visit every place in between, drinking in all the beauty and wonder that the galaxy could provide And the food! Together they sampled cuisines from across the cosmos, sampling some of the most delicious feasts you could have in Citadel space, and every time Liara borrowed recipes and ingredients so that she could recreate the most delectable courses at home. True to her word, Shepard had abandoned everything that could cause her stress on her epicurean adventure, feasting like royalty at every meal and staying as far away from any semblance of exercise or restraint. And now that they were back home from their epic adventure, for now, the effects of all that feasting were...quite apparent.
As the shower turned off, there was a pause, only interrupted by a tinny electronic voice recited out a number.
"Five hundred...fifty!"
"Yeah, that sounds about right...." Shepard mused, wrapping an oversized towel around herself and stepping into her bedroom, preceded by an absolute mountain of a belly, falling around her in two thick rolls of fat. Taking great waddling steps towards the wardrobe to get dressed, Shepard started out with a flabby belly but her hourglass figure had taken the brunt of her new diet's effects, with tree trunk thick haunches propelling her along to her next meal and her belly propping up breasts the size of pumpkins that needed special bras with enough letters to fill a dictionary. Hurriedly getting dressed, Shepard quickly put on a polo shirt and jeans that would have been tiny on an Elcor, straining momentarily to button the latter closed. It wouldn't last one more feast at this point, Shepard realized with glee, and she glanced in the mirror to make sure her hair was orderly and framed her wide, triple-chinned face nicely.
"Shepard!"
"I'm coming Liara, sheesh!" Shepard moaned loudly, turning to lumber out the room and down the hall, rattling every loose object as she stomped by before arriving in the kitchen. The smell of all the delicious food being prepared was heavenly; her mouth was already starting to water at the spread in front of her.
Which could have meant the spread of food, or the spread of the absolutely massive rear end blocking the view of the stove. Shepard, a mischievous grin on her face, waddled up to the rear end and grabbed it with one fat-fingered hand.
"Shepard!" Liara yelped, standing up straight with a hot bowl in her mitted hands. "Not when I'm in the oven, please!"
"But you look so good, honey," Shepard said seductively as her lover turned to set the dish among the others on the table. Indeed, Liara's smooth dress left little to the imagination and hugged every one of Liara's curves, mostly because she had blown past a quarter ton as well. It highlighted just how much of a pear she was, with her decently large breasts and upper arms upset by a perfectly round boulder of a belly perched in front of a massively wide set of hips and haunches, which had a chair kill-count that ran into the double digits at this point.
"Save it for later, my love," Liara chided, her large round face purpling slightly. "We have a guest coming over."
"Yeah, I know," Shepard said, dropping down into a steel double-wide chair. "It'll be nice to hang out with someone from the old team at least. I imagine she'll lose her head once she sees all of this though." Shepard slapped her belly, sending it wobbling for a good few seconds.
"Oh I'm not so sure of that," Liara said, setting up another dish and popping a little piece of it into her hungry mouth in a well-practiced move. "I've heard she's gotten rather portly herself, so perhaps seeing us won't be such a surprise anymore."
"I don't know, people were still shocked to see the savior of the galaxy looking like this," Shepard pointed out. "Not that I mind of course, I look damn good."
"No argument there," Liara said, leaning around Shepard's massive rack to give her a kiss, which was still a little awkward at their size. Right on cue, the doorbell gave an electric trill. "Ooh, that's her!" Liara said happily. "Can you get that, I need a few more trips to get this set up."
"Yup, I got it." With a herculean effort, Shepard heaved herself to her feet and made the lumbering journey to the door, the electronic hatch sliding open to reveal...
