This choice: You try to run out, but Angela holds you down successfully, trying to calm you. • Go Back...Chapter #5Angela hugs you in comfort. by: AridWD   Seeing that you're about to run out, Angela quickly holds you and hug you in comfort, squeezing you tightly.
"Jack, please calm down! Nobody is going to eat you here! Catherine is still young and it's probably harder for her to resist. Please baby..."
Being held tightly by your mother with no way out, you're forced to submit as she hugs you for the longest time, waiting patiently for your heart to calm itself down and your breathing to sustain itself. She hushes you warmly as if you were a newborn crying baby. It works, even if it is embarrassing. Sometimes what is needed to help people calm down is love and Angela knows best when it comes to calming you down when you were little.
Seeing that you've calmed down, she lets go and stares at you straight in the eyes, cupping your cheeks lovingly. "Jack, please trust me...please trust us. We will never hurt you. It's as the president says, this is now a dog-eat-dog world, but that doesn't mean there aren't any loving dogs."
Curling your lips, you feel embarrassed having caused a scene in front of your sisters.
"I'm...sorry."
Nobody says a word as they stare worriedly at you. With a clasp of her hands, Angela formally ends the meeting.
"I think that's all to be said. Why don't you go into your room and lie down, okay sweetie?"
You can only nod heavily, slowly closing your eyes and breathing in. Without another word, you left the living room and trodded back to your room. When you are finally gone, Angela faces her two daughter seriously.
"After John calms down, we'll have to ease him into becoming comfortable with being inside us in other areas besides the stomach. From what I heard, it also quells some hunger for a good amount of time without any concern of digesting. Catherine, I'll make as many pancakes as you need, but for right now, I need you to hold out, okay? I know you're probably feeling guilty, but the best thing you can do is avoid your older brother, okay?"
Catherine reluctantly nods, almost about to cry for slipping up. She returns to the kitchen to eat more which left Angela and Jenna to talk in more privacy.
