"Hey Alexis." Jaden called out as he walked towards the blonde beauty of Obelisk Blue. Alexis Rhodes was one of the best female duelists on the island who commanded the admiration and respect of everyone on the island. The boys all wanted to date her, and the girls were envious of her beauty. As for Jaden, she was one of his closest friends and his secret crush. Sometime after he saved her from the society of light, he had wanted to ask her out but always found himself getting tongue tied as he tried to express his feelings. Though when it came to dueling, he was always able to keep a cool head.
"What's up Jaden?" She asked.
"I found this weird card while I was walking around, have you seen it before?" He asked, as he handed her the card.
Taking the card from him, she looked it over. "Girls's World?" She asked. Looking it over it apparently gave female monsters Five hundred more Attack points and Defense points. It also prevents female monster from being destroyed and the card itself can't be destroyed either. It also reduced The attack points of male monsters by Five hundred Attack and Defense points. Though weirdest part of the card was the fact that it claimed that if the opponent was a male and lost, then they would become a girl. "Where ... did you find this?" She asked, handing it back to Jaden.
"I was walking around and I came across it, pretty weird huh?" He asked as he took it.
"Yeah, especially that last part about how it would turn the losing guy into a girl. It's not like it means it literally, it's not like it could actually do that right?" She asked.
"No idea, want to have a duel and see if it works?" He asked.
"Wait, you're willing to risk turning into a girl, just to see if it's telling the truth?" She asked.
"Yeah, I mean it's not like much would change if I did turn into a girl, right?" He asked, acting very concerned for the consequences.
Alexis was about to point out to him that turning into would be a pretty big change but decided against it. Knowing Jaden, the only thing that he would listen to was a duel at this time. It's what she loved and hated about this boy. "Alright, I'll duel you to see if this thing works."
As the two of them got ready, and Jaden shuffled the new card into his deck, neither of them knew the can of worms that they were about to open.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
