Deep within the dark corridors of the Galactic building...a plot was forming. Cyrus, still in agony of his humiliating defeat by simple trainers whom talked of compassion and love towards all living beings, wasn't finished. He had a plan, and it involved one of the remaining stones. The legendary adamant orb.

Earlier, Cyrus had instructed his minions to create a machine to his specifications, one that would draw power from the orb in his possession. Now, with the stone in hand, Cyrus planned on punishing the fools who ruined his chance of shaping the world as to the way he saw fit. But, rather, not fools, but one fool in particular. Ash Ketchum from Pallet town. But he would not harm him, oh no. Much too easy. Instead, he would punish those he loved most. His friends. And with that, Cyrus placed the orb into the machine and pressed the initiate button.
