Before Lucy drifted off to sleep she suddenly remembered the many, many stories about great power being so easily taken away. If she'd had a clear head and wasn't so tired she likely would have made a different wish, but as it was she grabbed the dictaphone and muttered into it, "No one except me can use or notice the dictaphone unless I make them aware of it." Shutting it off, she fell onto her bed and was asleep in an instant.
The next morning Lucy crawled out of bed, reveling in the look and feel of her amazing new body. Staring at herself in the mirror again, though, she realized that her body was a bit too disproportionate and that she would likely have trouble in the real world. While she could change things to suit her, sometimes wide-reaching things like that could have unintended consequences. She'd read enough horror stories to understand that. Grabbing the dictaphone, she decided on something simple. "My bones and muscles have more normal dimensions, but my curves are the same in proportion." Before shutting it off, she added, "I am six feet and two inches tall." She'd always wanted to tower over the other girls.
Lucy watched in fascination as her lovely pink skin shifted around her body, her sticklike figure expanding. The dictaphone did excellent work, as her frame now resembled that of a swimsuit model, albeit with far more massive curves attached. Speaking of, those curves ballooned to even larger sizes to maintain the same proportions as when she'd been a waif. Finally her body stretched higher, her room shifting to reflect her new height. She could loom over even Vanessa, Lucy realized with a happy squeal. If she wanted, she could be the new queen of the school and not even need to use the dictaphone to do it!
Eyeing herself in the mirror, Lucy contemplated what she would do today...
