"Ew, Catherine...get your smelly feet away from our food!" Wendy said, annoyed that her older sister had asserted herself between the two, and essentially pushed both of them out of her way, from the best spot on the couch.
"Aww, come on Wendy, the three of us never spend time together anymore. It's always us, plus the twins. I mean, I love them two, but sometimes I don't want to have to babysit."
"You never babysit, you always show up and make me do all the work!" Wendy replied quickly, staring Catherine down. "Like now, where are the twins anyway? I thought you went to get them out of bed?"
"I did, but they were already awake. I think they were in the bathroom together or something."
"GROSS!" Carla said, wincing.
"Why would they even do that? Are you sure they weren't just trying to hide from you?"
"I don't know, but if have to get up to go look, I'm not taking you to the store later." Catherine smirked. Having a car was usually her point of leverage about Wendy.
"Ugh, fine...I'll go get them. They like me better anyway." Sighing, Wendy stood and walked into the hallway leading to the twins' room. Smirking even more at her triumph, Catherine kicked her feet off of the table and over both the waffle and bowl of oatmeal, before putting her feet back down on the floor. As she did so, her eyes fell on Wendy's unattended breakfast. Her stomach let out a barely audible growl, and Carla looked over at her.
"We have lots of stuff to eat in the kitchen, big sis...do you want some of my waffle?"
"That's sweet of you Carla, you're the best little sister ever." Catherine's hand lifts, but she is unsure if she wants to share Carla's waffle, or steal some of Wendy's oatmeal. Meanwhile...
