"You guys, cut it out!" Layla quickly dumped some sand on Isabel's chest covering her again.
"Oh man there is ice-cream all over your face."
"That's gross Isabel!" Layla said in a sassy tone as she looked down at Isabel's ice-cream covered face.
Isabel was now embarrassed yet again. It was sexy when Steve was spinning the cone on her tongue, but now she was just lying there immobile with ice-cream dripping all over her face.
Jack smiled and said, "It looks like someone..." Steve nudged Jack to be quiet.
"Rude!" Steve said to Jack under his breath.
"Where are your towels?" Steve exclaimed.
"Someone took them or something, we haven’t seen them in a while."
"God it's probably that menace Claire and her two idiot bodyguards." Steve said.
"Claire...?" Layla pretended to play dumb.
"Yeah this horrible person that just goes around bullying all the other girls at this beach, she's rude too! I'd love to see her knocked down a peg or two!" Steve huffed.
"She's hot but she drives all the other chicks away, its totally not worth it." Jack interjected.
Steve bent down towards Isabel's face and started to push the melted ice-cream off her face and into the sand. Isabel loved the feeling of Steve's rough finger's on her face. "Thanks" she muttered as the ice-cream was mostly removed. "Its really the only way, we don't have any napkins or towels." Steve said with a matter-of-fact tone.
"Oh shoot, Jack and I got to get going to work. Both of us have the day off tomorrow, if you guys want to meet us at noon, come on over we'll be here." Steve exclaimed
"We'll be here!" Layla responded excitedly.
After the two boys ran away towards their nearby apartments to get ready for work Layla started jumping up and down and squealing.
"What are you doing that for?" Isabel chimed in.
"He totally likes you!" Layla squealed.
"Yeah right!" Isabel responded.
"You know he likes you." Layla said smiling.
"Also that's the last thing on my mind, I got to get out of here without being seen!" Isabel said.
