"The book of delusions?" You muttered.
It was written in big bold, old typecase letters on the first page. And under that, the following sentence:
"In the text box write one or many persons. On the page write what those persons will believe, even fooling their senses and their memories. Be careful."
You didn't quite understand, but were curious to see what it would do. After all, it was just a blank book. The other pages all just had an empty ornate text box, and some lines to write on. So you grabbed a pen and decided to try something with your boss Lisa, just to see...
So you wrote on one text box : "Lisa", then under it : "The sky is red." If the book worked like it pretended, Lisa would be under the delusion than the sky is fact red. But nothing seemed to happen when you wrote on the book.
Eager to see if it indeed was a magic book, you tried to ask Lisa...
- Hey hum, Lisa... Nice weather today, don't you think?
- Seriously Simon, you don't have anything better to do than ask me weather-related questions ? You didn't re-shelf those books yet...
- I know, I just wanted to chat. It's beautiful... Red sky outside.
- Yeah I guess.
- So you agree... About the sky?
- Yes, the sky is red Simon, like always. Now that's settled, start working for a change!
With that, Lisa left, leaving you dumbfounded. It... Worked? You looked outside, the sky was blue but... For Lisa, it was red! Unable to believe it, you decided to try something else, this time with a pencil. On another page, you wrote "Simon" in the text box, and then wrote something... A bit more interesting.
"Lisa wears only underwear when she's at work."
Nothing special seemed to happen, but then you turned toward Lisa...
She wasn't wearing any clothes. Just her white bra and panties and her glasses, like some kind of model. Damn... You couldn't help but admire her curves, and her excellent choices for underwear. Her big double Ds were tightly pressed against each other, and her fat butt was tightly wrapped... And just enough flesh on her tummy... And yet she was working like nothing was wrong! Other students passed next to her and didn't react! That meant only you were under the delusion that she was wearing only underwear, like the book said!
"Simon, why are you even looking at me? Finish your work already!"
You snapped out of your trance, and quickly finished re-shelfing the books, and also you grabbed the book of delusions... Your heart racing, you decide to...
