Ron plucked the wand from the box, turning it over in his hands. Harry instantly took a step backwards, it just felt a little incautious. Besides Ron didn't have the best of luck when it came to magic. He also wasn't the strongest of wizards, a fact that he'd deny even considering.
"I don't see any incantations ... or anything." Ron grumbled as he examined the box.
He didn't say any more. Because at that point he tapped the tip of the wand with a curious finger, and there was a flash of sickly light. It glared first crimson and gold before shifting to forest green and yellow sparks.
Harry shielded his eyes against the light. Ron existing only as a painful filament... a glowing outline too bright to look at directly.
But that faded....
"Bloody heck, Harry..." Ron whined.
Harry squinted... Ron sounded more ... well, more whiny and he had a bad feeling about this...
"B..Bloody Heck.... Harry... I'm a Weasley... and I'm a Slytherin..."
"And the first daughter in your family." Harry chuckled.
Ron's laughter climbed in pitch as she lost control, "Oh and I think I need to share my blessings." she giggled.
She tapped Harry on the forehead, just on his scar.
The scar flared to life, and the blinding glow flashed through him even quicker. Before she could see, Harry's hands were exploring her body... she knew what she expected to see and feel....
As her vision cleared, she spotted her face in a mirror.
