Horses/ponies

According to Rule #2 we can write a chapter in Haiku...
Challenge accepted.

You wake upon earth,
Bewildered, you look around,
Grass; taller than you.

Upwards, your gaze drifts,
A titanic ungulate,
(A hooved animal).

A gigantic horse,
Many times taller than your
Puny self, she's huge!

Looking down at you,
Her smile wavers, what are
You? She does not know.

"I'm [YOUR NAME]", you say.
"What are you?" She has not seen
Your species before.

"You're tiny!", she says.
"Good thing I found you, you are
So vulnerable!"

"If I wanted to,
I could simply step on you!
But I won't do that."

The huge mare smiles,
She seems to like you! Good thing
Too, given her size!

"Would you like to stay
With me?", she asks. You accept.
You are safe with her.

So, how was that?
