"...a little game."
He sat down on his bed, thinking the game over in his head. Hinata stood steady in front of him, her eyes glazed, her cheeks a little flushed. She looked like she was asleep, the way she was. Asleep and dreaming.
"The game is really simple, Hinata. When I remove the card, you'll wake up, but you won't think it's weird that you're in my apartment. You're gonna be really, really gullible when you wake up, though. Everything I say is going to make sense, okay? Everything I say is right."
He removed the card.
Hinata blinked rapidly. It wasn't wrong for her to be in Naruto's apartment, it was normal.
"Hey, Hinata, how are you feeling?"
"O-Oh, um, f-fine, N-Naruto..."
She felt herself blush. It felt right to be in his apartment, it felt right to be talking to him, but what was she here for again?
"N-Naruto...w-what was I...?"
She couldn't stop her hands from raising up in front of her.
"We were playing a game, remember?"
"A g-game?"
"Yeah, it's really fun. The rules are really simple. All you have to do is do whatever I say, and if you do it right, you don't have to take your clothes off."
"My clothes?" she cried.
"But Hinata, you agreed to this game! Don't you remember?"
She did remember, she had agreed.
"O-Okay..."
"Great! Now, first, you need to..."
