Yes, breakfast was huge! -and Hansel and Grettel were still as hungery a bears! The two siblings ate enormously -pancakes, mellon, ricepudding, ect.
When they were finnished eatting everythig Joaana made for them, the woman put them to work cleaning up the kitchen.
The last thing they did was sweep the floor, Hansel pushed the broom and Grettel held the dust pan.
The little girl was so full that she could not bend over!! Buttons on her little chemis popped and she tuned red in the face. Now she began to think she had eatten way too much! The kid bent at the knees to set the dust pan ahead of the broom and her brother just swept the lost buttons into the pan along with the dust off the floor. Gretel picked them out before Joaana saw what had happened.
Hansel had eatten at least as much as she, but he was bigger then her. The girl was very sleepy and just whanted cuddle with her brother and fall asleep on his chest. When she did it made Joaana a little jealous of their love.
