Hansel tells his sister he thinks it is good.

He became emotional and talked about how much she had woried that she would die, how frightanigly thin and weak she had been and how blue her little body had turned before Joana saved her.
"Now you are so fat.", the said to her and he smiled and stroaked her hair. He went on: "It's alreight. It is good. I am so happy. . . . I really thought you were going to die in my arms before we came here. I dredded that so much, Gretel you are the only family I have levt and if you died I . . . "
The boy started you cry and he became silent.
"Don't cry, I am not going anywhere, Hansel, siad the girl.
She turned her heavy body to face him and she squeazed him tightly.
"Yes.", the boy said. "That is why I am so happy. You are so fat now I would never have beleaved this a few months ago. I really though you could have died. I am so happy you are so fat and strong and happy and safe." he spoke softly and happily through his tears. "Joanna is coming back and I will have to go soon." he added.
The boy kissed his sister's head and whent to get up, but the girl, strong and fat as she had grown, held him and he could not move.
"Oh no" she said. "Do not go yet. As soon as that woman comes back she is going to make me eat more!" she said.
"Then eat as much as you can hold, Gretel" said Hansel.
"No, I am! I don't think I can eat any more -my tummy is so full!" she mewled softly.
The boy touched her round belly and it was stiff and drumb tight, but still moved under the presser that her applied with his hand.
"You can still eat." he said. "You have to eat for her, she is so good to us. I am going to have to get to work too so . . . "
Joanna came inside and the two siblings were silent. She sent Hansil out to work and with Gretel she . . .
