Chapter #3

Rule set 4

    by: Unknown
“These are the rules for the magical edition of Uno that you have found. You play a regular game of Uno, but each card you play allows you to conduct a swap. The type of swap depends on the color and type of card. Each player is handed 7 card where the game can begin.

Swapping is just like the original poker rules, but the color of the card decides what kind of swap. For example if the card is red (body), it would be “I want to swap hair with Mary.” When a swap happens, a player can’t swap back what was traded unless they use a reverse card, though only following the card’s rule. A swap occurs between the current and next player.

All changes made in the game is adjusted to reality so it’s as if you were always like that. The players are the only one who remembers what changes. When age or gender is swapped, you are only perceived as your new trait and not physically changed. Each time someone get an Uno, they can choose any kind of swap that happens to use, or save it and change someone else’s swap (following the card rules). Play until a person in last place is determined.

Types of Cards

Colors:
Red-Body
Green-Clothing
Yellow-Personal Info
Blue-Personality

Special Cards:
Reverse-Undo last swap and replace swap with a new one of the color of the card. Also reverses play order.
Skip-Skips the next player’s turn and perform a swap according to color.
Wild- When played the player can choose any kind of swap to happen with them self and the next player.
Wild Draw 4-Probably the best card in the whole game. Not only can you choose what kind of swap happens, but you can choose any of the players to swap. It’s not only 1 swap, but 4 too. The next player also draws 4 cards and loses their turn.”

“Now remember kids,” their father Tom said, “We will play 1 game, and at each rest stop we go back to normal and play again.”

He shuffled the cards and passed them out where he then placed the starting card in the middle of the table. The card was a yellow 7, a personal info card, or in short, life card.

“Since Erin started last time, why don’t you start this honey?” Mary told Mark as she took a seat next to him.

Mark nodded and looked over the seating. On his left across the table was Katie across the table and on his right was his mom who finished getting comfortable in her seat. They usually played in a counter-clockwise circle, realizing he would be switching with his mom first. He gulped at the thought. It wasn’t that he was afraid of having a woman’s parts, he got used to it thanks to his sisters. It’s just that the fact she was his mom made it a little awkward. He looked down at his hand and put down his first card, a...
