Out of the holes in the wall, ceiling and floor are several metallic tendrils. Four of them takes Shepard by the wrist and ankles. One tentacle enters her mouth to keep her to only make muffled sounds. Another tentacle starts groping her breasts after they rip her clothes off with another one that massages her belly. Then two other tendrils enters her butt and most private part of her body.
At first she feels pain, then pleasure, and then she passes out. She awakes in the same room, but with a door visible and she barely gets up and the unlocked door opens. Then, she hears Harbinger, "Shepard, I want to play a game with you: If you can escape this maze before nine months are up, you will be my leader. But if you fail, then the cycle will resume." Shepard thinks of this and asks, "Why nine months?" Harbinger says, "That is when you will give birth to the next generation of Reapers." Shepard couldn't believe this and just asks, "How many...?"
