Ex-Cerberus operative Miranda Lawson was on the planet Omega on a special mission. Her "twin" sister Oriana had gone missing, and she was last seen on Omega. She had a feeling that her dad, Henry Lawson was involved, but she needed proof. Miranda had to speak to Aria T'loak in the nightclub Purgatory, who basically ran Omega. Miranda had developed a hatred towards her father, because he genetically modified her at a young age, leaving her with a pretty face, a perfect body, powerful biotic powers, and infertility.
Miranda made her way through the marketplace. As she turned the corner, she heard someone come behind her, and without warning she was attacked. Because she was taken by surprise, she had no time to defend herself, and was knocked out.
The Illusive Man sat in his chair as he observed Miranda, who was unconscious, and was laying down on a lab table. She was surrounded by multiple Cerberus scientists, who were told to speak to the Illusive Man. The head scientist spoke to him. "What do you want to do with her, sir?" Illusive Man took a puff out of his cigarette. "Ms. Lawson has been a useful asset to us for many years, and with my idea, she will continue to do so. Remember the Reaper-Human larvae on the Collector base, well, we were able to uncover multiple fetuses of the same type of hybrid. I want you to inject these into Ms. Lawson." The scientist spoke again. "Oh... okay." After the injection, Illusive Man told the scientists to inject her with a drug that would make her forget the attack, and they obeyed. They placed her back on Omega, and hours later she woke up, it was nighttime, and she couldn't remember why she was there. She requested that the Normandy came to pick her up. Soon after it arrived, and she went to her cabin without talking to anyone, and went to sleep.
