Looking through the wide selection of electronics, you stopped to wonder how they got so much stuff.
"Man, I wonder if they were loaded at one point or something. I mean, look at all this" you muttered to yourself. From remotes to cd's, there was quite the selection. However, soon enough, your eyes turned to one particular item.
The item in question looked like an older iPod. It looked simple in design. It was small, rectangular, and white in color. There was a small screen for selecting music and a circle pad for cycling through them. You didn't have an iPod for yourself, and since this iPod seemed to still contain some songs, it might be worth the investment for you.
You actually also had another reason for looking at such an item. The thing is, you didn't know a lot of music, and you didn't know how to dance. You were a sophmore high schooler, and yet you couldn't dance. Many such events were coming up, including one within 2 weeks. The last thing you wanted to do was humiliate yourself.
That kind of thinking sealed the deal for you. You picked up the iPod, alo noticing a couple of earphones attached for personal listening. Looking at the tag, it was a modest $5.
"Excuse me, sir? I'd like to buy this" you told one of the older men that was running the sale. You held out a $5 bill, as that was the amount on the tag. The man confirmed it, and happily took the dollar.
"Have fun, young man. You might find that little device to be worth quite a bit more than this dollar" said the man. That confused you.
"What do you mean?" you asked.
"Oh nothing, just an old man muttering to himself" he said, chuckling to himself as he turned and left.
"Well, that was wierd" you muttered to yourself.
"John! Time to go!" yelled your mom, as she was apparently done shopping. You hopped into the car with her, explaining your purchase of the iPod. Of course, you left out the part of you somewhat learning how to dance and so forth.
