Krystal thought for a moment and took in her surroundings.
The floor on which she lay was metal and cold. She found the cold comforting, about the only thing that was.
The aliens looked like a cross between E.T. and the aliens from Close Encounter. Behind the aliens she saw what appeared to sliding doors. The rest of the room had the charm of a metal culvert.
She still felt her pistol, tucked under her body as she lay on the floor.
"What happened to Biff? He was talking to you, then he died. Are you responsible?"
"Biff? You mean the dude who looked like Beck? I don't know. Maybe it was lead poisoning. That's fairly common on my planet."
The aliens looked at each other, confused. Krystal slowly moved into a sitting position, careful to keep the gun concealed.
"What is this lead poisoning of which you speak?"
"This," she said was she brought out the gun and killed the aliens.
Her ears ringing from the gunshots in the small metal room, she examine the aliens. Unlike in the movies, the aliens' blood was not acid, it looked strangely like milk.
She quickly got to her feet and--avoiding the bodies--ran to the door. After trying several buttons next to the door, she got the panels to slide apart.
The door opened on a hallway that went to the right and left of the room.
