Dashing Down

Krystal dashed down the long road, trying to get as far away from the frightening radio and frightening city as quick as possible.

She knew she was unwelcomed in Randy (the name of the town), but for what reason?

Everyone Krystal had encountered in the mysterious city had been impolite by not even saying anything to her.

Perhaps they were scared of Krystal. Few people in the petite, rural Randy had ever seen city folk like her.

The way Krystal acted, spoke, and dressed could've terrified them somehow.

'That's a foolish reason,' she thought to herself. 'I'm as normal as could be.'

"How could they be horrified?" began Krystal. "They're the ones who are horrific!"
