Chapter #6

The Coming

The aliens grabbed Lindsay, and one of them stuck a needle in her. A strange chemical went into her system, and she began to feel woozy. The aliens watched as she collapsed to the ground...

She woke up in her cabin, her head face down on her typewriter. Her head was sore, and the area where the needle was jammed into her arm, was bleeding. She stood up, and heard a loud crack at the door. It was kicked open, and a man in a long black trenchcoat came in.

"Krystal Bennet, come with me!" The man spoke abruptly, she could see a large gun in his coat.

He grabbed her by the arm and led her outside. He pushed her into the pure black car he had brought, and stepped behind the wheel. He slammed on the gas, and the car sped out of there.

"W-What's going on?" Krystal asked, frightened by the day's events.

"I will tell you later. Right now, we have to get to town. They are coming."The man replied, Krystal could notice a strange tattoo on the side of his face.

"Who's coming?"Krystal asked, shivering in fear.

"...The shapeshifters."The man spoke quickly, fear could be heard in his otherwise gruff voice.
