A person would be challenging enough, and maybe give you the respect you deserve. You could try to make an illusion of a human, but that would make it too easy. Then you remember a book you had read back at the orphanage. It was one of the biggest books you ever had read there, but what it made so special was that it contained illustrations of the different races of your world. You would look through the book for hours, reading on where to find them, what their culture was based on, the gods they worshipped.
All those memories fade away as you stare at the face of Nut. You had to pick out a race, but you can't think of anything. Out of habit you feel your ear, your too long ear. Then you think of it, maybe an elf would be impressive enough?
