Jeff sat with his friend Donny at a bar table, commiserating over their beers.

"So, another relationship down the tubes huh?" he asked, as the barmaid hustled by, Donny pinching her on the butt end of her purple skirt.

"Yeah, she says I just have no understanding of her or women in general, let alone commitment. Go figure."

"Did she do like your last girlfriend and chuck your stuff on the lawn and lock the door on you?"

"No, although she did key my truck on the way out. She yelled back that it was for paying more attention to other women and not enough to her."

"Let's face it, you do have a habit of groping women in public, even when you are with your main squeeze."

"I can't help myself. I just wish I could go back to the start and understand women a whole lot better."

"I wish that too buddy, and not just grown women--I have trouble understanding my daughters most of time, my mother-in-law, and my mom and grandmother. I really wish I

could understand women at any and all points in their lives," Jeff replied, as they toasted and knocked the mugs together.

A tingle ran through both of them, though they passed it off as just the beer doing its thing.

Not long after, they each headed home.
