After all, Cassie's days had to be split evenly between Ms. Polluck and Ms. Underwood. It was the only way to make sure that everybody walked out of this situation happily.
Last year, so much of their time had been spent squabbling and bickering over whether or not Cassie was good for Sister Underwood (before eventually moving into the territory of "who could use her better?") that almost nothing got done on either front of things. Sister Underwood hadn't been able to focus on her job of giving earthly guidance to the Buttercombe Academy students, and Ms. Polluck had been unable to not be frustrated when it came to Mia's (admittedly) snobby attitude.
So, the best way to deal with the fact that Cassie was in such high demand was obviously to devote time to both of the big, beautiful blondes in her life.
Whereas Ms. Polluck got to hole up in her office (obviously) Ms. Underwood was mostly relegated to her own cabin. All of the guidance counselling duties were handled remotely, with a large television screen in what used to be her office that allowed face-to-face interface with students who were dealing with... sadness? Depression? Teen angst? It wasn't really all that important in the grand scheme of things.
Because of course, Mia's needs came first (at least for the latter half of the days!) and Cassie was happy to see to them in the best way that she knew how.
Plus, as much as she liked to think of herself as an adult now... driving the golf carts around herself was pretty cool.
Entering Sister Underwood's cabin was always fun. She'd done it plenty of times back when she was a student. But doing it in the middle of the day, when she didn't have classes, that was the most fun part. Sort of like that "getting to be here when you're not normally here" vibe, if that made sense. Getting to devote literally whole days to pampering and feeding Ms. Polluck and Sister Underwood was nice, but the feeling of having a real job was also sort of novel—something that she wasn't expecting to feel excited about.
"CASSIE!"
"Coming, Sister!"
Ms. Underwood was officially too big to leave her bedroom. Extensive modifications had been done to convert her bathroom into a walk-in, and also the wall that separated them had been knocked out from the bedroom side. She, much like her authoritative counterpart, was far too fat to do much of anything and lie here; her massive, sweaty rolls bulging out every which way as her arms sat at an angle on her spare tire. Her fat face was circled by a singular apron of chin fat, constrasting Ms. Polluck's jowlier expression. Either way, it was clear that she wasn't happy with the way that the people that had been hired to tend for them during the Summer had been carrying on either.
"Thank the Earth Spirit." Mia groaned, rolling her eyes and shaking her long blonde locks, "Do you know how difficult it has been since you left for the Summer, Cassie?"
"I can only imagine." the smaller woman sighed softly and with great sympathy for the incredibly large woman in bed, "Why don't we talk all about it over lunch?"
That, at least, put a smile on the gigantic guidance counsellor's face. She licked her plump pink lips and her little toes twitched excitedly at the mere mention of more food. Ignoring the fact that there were probably thousands of calories surrounding her as of right now. She could always make more room for Cassie. After all, it was her lot in life to be waited on and doted over by people who adored her. And while the people that had been hired on to tend to two of the largest women in Buttercombe Academy's history weren't exactly getting the whole "adoring her" part down yet, they would come around. Or if they didn't, they'd at least fall so well into line that Mia wouldn't know the difference.
Cassie would for sure see to that.
"It'll be nice to meal with someone who understands that I need bigger portions." Mia sniffed haughtily, "I swear, these people are trying to starve me!"
They most definitely were not trying to starve Ms. Underwood. The crew that had been hired were trained specifically in dealing with the "big and without any intention of getting smaller" crowd, and Cassie had been at least tangentially related to the hiring process before she had to go home for Summer Break.
Well, graduation.
Either way, whatever. She knew that neither Ms. Underwood or Ms. Polluck were going hungry, despite what they might have whined at her while she was coming to see them after so long away...
That being said, neither of them had gotten much bigger since she had been gone either. Maybe they could have used some tender love and care—the kind that only someone like Cassie could have provided...
