Hannah can't come up with anything and dism...

For all her cunning at getting young women to fatten themselves up like sows before a trough, Hannah's mind was shooting blanks in the face of Aubrey's question so she just shrugged her shoulders.

"Metabolism? I don't know, it's just never happened to me."

Aubrey gave a curt nod at that, returning her attention to the gift basket, not noticing the pleased gleam in Hannah's eyes as she picked up a large chocolate bar.

A week passed, Aubrey not allowing herself to pig out so much from the gift basket, instead choosing to indulge at the cafeteria. While she did this, and made some more friends among the Buttercombe ladies, she also kept an eye on Hannah. Her roommate refused just about any food her friends tried to give her and didn't even go back for seconds from the cafeteria!

Clearly something was up that went beyond mere metabolism.
