This choice: Natalie and Sabrina go to the bakery. • Go Back...
Chapter #5
Natalie and Sabrina go to the bakery.
by: Unknown
The two awoke from a restful nap and after a quick stop at Natalie's apartment to allow her to change into something slightly less ill fitting and made their way to the bakery.
There was no identifiable name to the bakery, but true to Sabrina's word, it looked like a gingerbread house. Also true to her word, there was a "Help Wanted" sign in the window.
"Go ahead." Sabrina said. "I'm just going to come in as a regular customer after you've had a chance to speak with the management. Good luck!"
Natalie entered the shop, finding that it smelled incredible. How could she be hungry after the gorging that she had done earlier?
At the front desk was a woman slightly older but a little pudgier than her. No, a lot. She held a gingerbread cookie in her pudgy fingers, biting into it, her round face almost glowing in revelry, her eyes alight with joy. Her ginger, wavy locks stuck out in all directions as she swallowed, her bountiful breasts bouncing as she leaned forward, pushing herself up slightly against the counter. With a wide smile, cheeks dimpling, she asked, “Hi! Can I get you something?”
“Well, maybe a job application?” Natalie asked, noticing how the name tag clipped on her bust was labeled “Jessica.”
Jessica eyed Natalie up and down. "We don't really have an application, but we are looking for somebody. In fact, you're the only person to even apply in a month. Do you want the job?"
"Just like that?" Natalie asked.
"Can you make change?" Jessica asked.
"Yes, I..." Natalie started to share her experience.
"Can you get a cupcake out of the case when a customer asks?" Jessica inquired.
"Of course." Natalie said.
"Do you like to eat cookies?" Jessica asked.
"Yes. I mean, cookies are good and all, but..." Natalie stammered and blushed.
"Look, you've got the job." Jessica said. "Something you want to tell me?"
Natalie thought for a moment before blurting, "I got fired from my last bakery job for eating too much."
Jessica smiled. "That won't be a problem here. Our employees are our best advertisers, so we fully expect that you're going to eat what we make. So, are you in?"
