You had no idea what you were about to face or what kind of explosives you were up against so you decided to balance your gear to reflect that. You couldn't bring all of your tools or any heavy guns but a balanced selection of equipment meant you could deal with any complications that popped up. After changing into a specialized wingsuit and packing up your supplies you headed back out to greet the pilot.
"According to the clock we have about 45 minutes to intercept this guy and secure his plane!" you shout at at the pilot as he hops into the cockpit of his tiny fighter. "Get us up in the air, we'll only have one shot at this and I don't want to miss it. I've got the coordinates and other stuff, but we need to get moving." The pilot nods his head as he fires up the propeller and begins cruising down the runway. "Aye-aye, captain."
You soar off into the sky and marvel at the beauty of the surrounding landscape from the passenger seat of the small but smooth flying WWII fighter. As you flew off towards the point of interception you began to carefully formulate a plan of action. It sucks that you didn't have more time but half an hour or so should be good enough to pull this job off. The hardest part would be right at the start... if you could get past that you'd be all set.
There was no time to do this safely, you'd only have one way to securely enter the plane without risking setting off the bomb. If the doors of the plane connect to a fail safe then opening the door would only cause a premature detonation. Instead you'd have to deploy your wingsuit as the plane approached, snag it with a special heavy duty grappling device, cut open a small hole in the exterior of the body, slip inside and then seal the hole back up. You'd have to do all of this in a time frame of about 30-40 seconds. Not exactly easy.
As you arrive over the tiny town where the plane was due to pass you had the pilot survey the area for anything that could affect the mission. After flying in a few circles you breathed a small sigh of relief that no enemy aircraft or ground troops were spotted. The last thing you needed right now was a bunch of guys shooting at you while you tried to jump from plane to plane thousands of feet above the ground.
Soon enough your pilot caught sight of an approaching aircraft flying in from the northeast. That was definitely your target! "Right on time." you grinned as you prepared yourself for the jump. No way was this going to be easy, even for a professional like yourself. Time to give your pilot his final order as he gets in range...
