Erza and Cana leaped to either side just as a beam of purple light, charged with crackling electric energy, descended down over the stone plate. The two narrowly avoided the beam, and stood up off the ground as the light flickered and vanished.
"I don't know what that beam does," Gray commented "but I'm not in a hurry to find out."
"That was a bit too close for comfort, I admit." Erza said, brushing dust off her shirt. "but since none of us meet the weight requirements, what do we do?"
"Juvia suggests we leave and go home so that Juvia and Gray-sama can rest and recover together!" Juvia shouted.
"Oh, shut up. You weren't even close to getting hurt." Cana snapped
The four suddenly paused and looked around as the low rumbling of running water started to reverberate through the room. A statue of a woman holding a vase began to gently pour pinkish-coloroed water from the opening of the vase into a small canal that ran the perimeter of the room. The liquid sparkled and shone as it filled the small rut and flowed around the edge of the chamber, eventually reaching a drain on the opposite side of the room and flowing back out, making a small stream running in a circle around the group. A chime sounded, and the runes above the door shifted to form new words.
Requirements not currently met.

"What the hell...?" Cana wore a mildly dumbfounded expression reading the words "Please drink? I guess it means the pink stuff, but..."
"Interesting... I suppose we are left with little choice. We have no reason to trust this setup, but it would be an odd way to poison a person, and I see no other way to proceed" Erza summoned a goblet with her requip and filled it with the sweet smelling fluid. "There are risks to consider, but I see no other way to progress. Cheers."
Ezra took a quick, decisive sip of the water in her glass before any of the others had a chance talk her out of it. The moment the liquid entered her mouth, the armored mage's eyes widened. This was the most delicious thing she had ever tasted! It was like a thousand strawberry shortcakes having a tea party in her mouth. Ezra quickly downed the whole goblet, not even stopping for breath until the entire glass had been consumed.
With each gulp, Erza's body changed. Her hips grew subtly wider, her belly softer, her breasts bigger. Even her face was more cherubic and her arms and legs less toned. The changes were subtle enough that Gray, Cana, and Juvia almost didn't notice them, but notice them they did. A single glass of the pink water flowing around the room had made their friend gain almost five whole pounds right in front of their eyes. The three were stunned, only snapping out of it once Erza wiped her mouth and breathed a sigh of shear pleasure.
"Ah... quite delicious." She said, subconsciously tugging at the edge of her shirt "Oh? My clothes feel a bit tight... What are you all looking at?"
Cana was the first to speak up: "You just gained a bunch of weight all at once! Don't tell me you didn't notice!"
"Now that you mention it, I am a bit pudgier. I expected as much. This tower seems to be designed to make those who don't meet the weight requirements gain weight until they do."
"What the hell kind of twisted security system is that?!"
"I don't know. But we may need to gain progressively more weight as we go in order to proceed. I am happy to take this burden for the group, if need be."
"Oh thank goodness!" Juvia chimed in "Juvia was worried she would be expected to become a butterball as well!"
"Don't let your guard down, Juvia." Erza replied "We still don't know what lies ahead." The slightly heavier girl stepped onto the stone plate, and the runes read
