Just as you decide to go to the pool, the mother walked out the door behind me.
"I want to apologize again, where are you headed now? Let me drive you there" She said.
"The pool. And no, its alright. I'll walk."
"Are you sure? It's a long walk." She was already walking towards her car.
I stared at the young mother for a second. She smiled sweetly back.
"Yeah. sure why not" I reply.
The two of us get into her small hatchback and drove off.
"My name is Rebecca by the way" She said.
"Good to meet you. I'm actually going to look for Liz. Do you know where she might be?"
"You mean the lifeguard? She's usually at the pool unless she's on patrol or something."
Rebecca gave me a grin. "Is she your...?"
"No! She's my friend." I replied.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to imply anything."
"It's alright. I just thought that she was someone I could annoy."
"Oh how so?" laughed the mother.
I decided to tell her the truth.
"Well, rumor has it that she is extremely ticklish. I figured I can use that to my advantage" I smirked.
The young mother laughed again.
"I suppose the pool is the best place to tickle someone. What, with all that exposed skin" She said.
"Exactly!" I agreed.
"You know" She said with an inviting smile, "I'm very ticklish myself. Maybe instead of going to the pool, you could find someone else to 'annoy'."
