Angrily yell at the voice

"Look you weirdo!" I snapped "I haven't got time for this crap! You ring me again and I'll call the police!"

There was silence from the other end of the line at my outburst made me think that perhaps my message had gotten through. This ended however when the voice chuckled darkly "Well, aren't you quite the defiant one? That's good, it'll make the game even more fun. It's so fun to break those who would stand against me..."

A nervous chill went through my spine as I heard those words. There was something so... Eerie about them. The tone, even from a garbled voice, made me think that the person behind it was enjoying this completely "What do you want?"

"To have fun. At your expense of course." The voice replied "But since you were so rude to me earlier, I think I'll share the fun with others. Your friends shall soon learn that you should have treated me with more respect. A red plume shall show you and them to be more polite."

The person then hung up from their line and I was left wondering as to what they meant by that. A sudden flash of memory hit me as I recalled news reports over the last few months. Houses had been broken into while their owners had been inside of them and they were always discovered naked and tied up. Something had happened although the police had managed to keep the details under wraps regarding the events but in each time, a red feather had been left stuck to the front door of each victim.

I realised that the person on the other end (Providing it wasn't a prank), was the one behind the break ins and I knew I had to act quickly. I rushed upstairs to get changed while getting my phone out, determined to phone everyone I knew to make sure they were OK. After a moment's thought, I decided to first call...
