How You Motivate Someone

"Oh, sure," I said, pretending to go along with her plans. "The house will be just as dirty when we get back, right?"

"That's the spirit," she said, grinning at me as she walked to the door. She was too busy feeling triumphant that she had so easily convinced me to join her in procrastinating that she didn't notice me stick my foot out and trip her up.

"Oof, what was that that for!" She said, surprised, as she tumbled and landed on her large couch, stomach-first. I sat down on her shins, knowing that although Sharon was sporty, she was more of a lean and toned athlete than a weightlifter and she shouldn't be able to squirm free or lift me when I had my full body weight pressing down on her.

"Actually, no. If we go out for a run, when we come back you'll be sweaty so you'll need to shower. And then you'll be hungry. So then we’ll go out to the mall to eat. And then you'll want to go shopping for a bit 'while we're there'. Then when we come back you'll feel too tired to do anything and we'd have wasted a whole day," I said ticking the things off with my fingers. "I remember doing this last summer, Sharon..." I said, as I pulled off her Nike trainers.

"Hehe, hey now. Let's talk about this! I'll be good!" Sharon said, already giggling. Oh, she was so going to get it, I decided. I admit to doing this for the dual-purpose of not only persuading her to stop wasting time, but because she was so much fun to tickle. I was in her martial arts class, and I had always looked forward to squaring off against her because forcing a surrender via tickling was by far my favorite move in class. In fact, due to my constant use of it against the female members of the class, some of the girls had even began fighting fire with fire and using the same moves on me!

"I'm just going to give you a little... motivation to start cleaning up after yourself more," I said as I tugged off her black ankle socks, exposing her pretty bare feet. "You should be thanking me! I'm such a good friend for doing this."

Putting the emphasis on 'this', I began dragging just one finger along her left foot and her toes were already she was already fidgeting. I had tried to sound serious but I couldn't help myself from smiling as her toes curled in the cutest way.

Sharon could probably hear that in my voice as she just giggled as she flexed her feet defensively."

"You love it, really," I teased as I lightly wiggled my index finger up and down the middle of my friend's sole. "And don't worry, this is just the warm-up. If you don't use a feather duster for dusting, then the only thing it's good for is tickling the feet of a very ticklish girl, don't you agree?" I said asked I continued lightly scratches down her friend's helpless feet.

"Nohohoho!" Sharon said, giggling frantically as she tried to squirm free as I continue lightly teasing all her sensitive feet. They curled, wiggled and twitched as they tried to escape. Sometimes she would hide her mouth behind her hands, as if she was embarrassed by how I making her squeak and squeal.

‘Comehohohonm, stop teasing me so hahahahahaha much!” Sharon said, chuckling uncontrollably. "Weheheh, have work to do!"

I found that hilarious. So now Queen procrastinator wants to work? But I wasn't going to let her off this easily. Not when I had her lovely brown feet at my mercy. I reached out and plucked the pink feather duster from the table I had put down on earlier.

"You're right, Sharon. We do have work to do. In fact, I think I'll start with dusting your feet right here," I said, brandishing the feather duster as I gave her a few seconds to reply before diving in..

Sharon was still giggling when she twisted her torso and craned her neck so she saw the bright pink feather duster in my hands hovering dangerously over her trapped feet. "Uh, my feet are clean. Really. No need to dust them. Let's get to work!" She said unconvincingly, curling her toes defensively.

I pretender to seriously ponder her offer, all the while I slowly drug a finger up and down her foot. It was adorable seeing her trying to keep her giggles in. After a few moments of this I decided keeping her in suspense was too cruel. "Nah, more dust collects than you realize. We gotta get it off," I grinned.

Sharon shook her head, still giggling, and said 'crap' in flirty way which I took as my cue to begin. I twirled and spun the small feather duster in my hand so the bristles tantalized all over her feet. I feathered the tops and the bottoms of both feet, sometime she would try to cover up one foot with another but I would just grab each foot and spend time dusting it individually. After a while she would try kicking my arm with her free foot, but whenever she did that I would loudly say to her "Oh, if you insist. I'll dust that foot now," and I'd grab that foot and dust it vigorously all the while Sharon was screaming at me saying that wasn't what she meant.

After a while of this she began clenched my hands into fists and thumped them on the couch, loud boyish laughter still flowing from her mouth. I was having so much fun feathering her feet that I hadn't noticed the time. I had been tickling her feet for almost twenty minutes and we did have a house to clean...
