Yuki gracefully skied across the finish line, balanced perfectly and in complete control of herself. She still needed to work on her turning, but that was to be expected. Black diamonds weren't in the foreseeable future, but skiing anything less wouldn't be much of a problem after a few more practice runs. Unfortunately for Yuki, she spent most of her trip down the mountain working to achieve this form, and even more rising out of the snow. Add to it, Jessica wasn't very merciful. This first trip down the mountain was the race.
Compared to her Japanese friend, the buxom red head was a professional. Any snow on her suit was tossed up by her skis. There was even a slight mock within her form; that's the only reason she took such a tight turn around the mountain. And after she noticed Yuki struggling to get off the ground, she deliberately slowed to a crawl. It wouldn't be sporting to give Yuki absolutely no chance, she reasoned, even though she still beat Yuki down by a few minutes. Enough time for Jessica to contemplate her first ploy with Yuki, and for Yuki to come down with a scowl.
"You suck, Jessie," Yuki sighed.
"I suck? After I got here first?"
"After you hustled me."
"How so? I never said this was my first time skiin. In fact, if you'd asked, I'da told you that instructor I recommended was once my student."
"Yeah, yeah. I'm dumb, you didn't lie, I shoulda known better. I've heard it all before when I stood on the sidelines."
"Good, that'll save us time," Jessica said. "But just cause you're a good sport, I'll let you pick what we do. Wanna keep skiin, or should we head to the lodge?"
Yuki's eyes shot daggers to her friend. "Gee, thanks."
She was no fool. Even if Jessie did reserve the worst of her wagers for guys, Yuki knew that whatever was in store was going to be humiliating. That made neither option very welcoming. The lodge was a virtual unknown, in terms of both population and possibilities. The mountain was a bit more predictable, no matter the raunchiness of Jessica's choices. On top of that, it wasn't too crowded right now. Any humiliation would be in front of a small crowd. However, the lodge's ambiguities also meant there was a chance she could get Jessie to wager Yuki's freedom once more in a manner more suited to the Asian's abilities, or perhaps merely reduce her audience's size. Plus, there was a chance Lily had made her way to the lodge and could bail Yuki out.
Of course, these were all mere possibilities. Nothing was set in stone, and things could go horribly wrong for Yuki at any point. Even without the sexual bets on the table, one misstep could land Yuki neck deep in permanent embarrassment. And Yuki had begun accounting for this as well. A larger crowd in the lodge, significantly more means of embarrassment, and worse. And then there was the idea she'd be streaking across the whole thing while calling out her measurements. Although, that would be better than the hypothermia and frost bite she might incur from tearing up the slopes naked below the knees or polar bear dipping. Risk versus reward, she reminded herself.
Yuki sighed once more as she made her choice. "Okay, Jess. Let's..."
