This choice: A size Changing ray finds its way into jessica's Hands • Go Back...Chapter #3A size Changing ray finds its way into jessica&... by: Dragonien   "-just sign here place" the towering giraffe muttered in disinterest, holding out the electronic signing pad to the fox. With a sigh, Jessica quickly scribbled her name illegibly on the pad and snatched the package out of the deliver guy's arms. a halfhearted thanks was given to him before the door was abruptly shoved shut, and the fox was on her way back to her room.
"Man that guy is always a dick" She muttered under her breath. Most of her spitefulness came from the fact that she had tried to get him to go out with her at one point and he had totally blown her off. Only later did she find out that he was gay, which consoled her a bit in thinking he didn't reject her but her entire gender. At the same time however it had annoyed her to place something out of her reach, a massive pet peeve of hers as absurd and unrealistic as that was.
The package on the other hand was something that merited her interest, for she didn't remember ordering anything. By the time she got back to her room and was kicking the door closed she was already tearing the tape off to pull the box open. Inside amidst a small sea of packing peanuts, was a small chrome pistol, looking like something out of a weird sci fi movie. Instead of an open barrel the end of it was a small nub of a polished glass or diamond like substance, and on the side of the gun was a dial with a small indicator arrow. The settings for the gun only further confused her, as she looked looked at the various numbers it could be set too. Ranging from the lowest to highest 1/100, 1/50, 1/20, 1/10, 1/2, 0, 2, 10, 20, 50, 100.
Curiously, she flipped the dial back and forth a few times, unintentionally ending up with it on the "20" setting as she carelessly aimed it around the room.
"Maybe it’s one of those weirdo sound toys and the settings are the volume?" She muttered to herself, idly wondering why something like this would have come to her in the mail at all. Casually she pulled the trigger as the device aimed across the room. Rather than a fake, playful toy made sound, the device vibrated momentarily, then emitted a beam of bright green energy from the tip which shot across the room and hit one of the stuffed animals on her desk square in the chest. Jessica's eyes went wide and her jaw hung slack as she saw an aura of green energy begin to engulf the brown furred teddy bear sitting on her desk, then began to slowly stretch and push outwards. It was as if it was pulling the teddy bear with it, as with each inch further outwards the aura expanded, the teddy bear grew with it. It was growing!
the normally 6 inch tall toy was rapidly approaching a foot in height, then two, then four with no signs of slowing. Bigger and bigger it expanded, starting to push pencils and keyboards off of her desk as it ballooned larger than even she was. When it finally seemed to stop, the teddy bear's head was squished against the ceiling, as the now 10 foot tall teddy bear was taking up the majority of her desk!
The fox simply sat there on the edge of her bed for several seconds staring with wide eyes at the now giant sized teddy bear, slowly glancing back down to the object held in her hand. A size ray. a real, working size ray! A wide grin slowly spread across her face as ideas began floating through her head. A real Size ray! Assuming the numbers were the shrink and growth settings, she could do a lot of things with this. The only question was what to do with it first...
